Above the falls, is a hand printed reduction linocut in oil inks, on Fabriano Artistico paper.
For visitors to the Mount Field National Park it is an easy walk through temperate rainforest to visit Russell Falls, one of the best known and beautiful waterfalls in Tasmania. After viewing it from below, you can follow a track that climbs up the side of the falls to the top. Where the river meets the first cascade near an old mossy tree, you can stand looking over the top of the falls towards the temperate rainforest vegetation on the opposite side and the more olive-toned Eucalypt forest that transitions to bluer tones towards the distant hills.
