Mountain Sunset is a hand printed reduction linocut in oil inks, on Fabriano Artistico paper.

From my studio window I am lucky enough to be able to see southern side of kunanyi/Mt Wellington. While I grew up in Hobart, I could never see the mountain from my home before moving here, and it has been wonderful to see how much the light changes from day to day and hour to hour. This artwork was inspired by the gradient of colour from orange to pink against the blue sky during a sunset over the mountain.
