Ruby Hunt’s house is perched up on a hillside overlooking the historical Darlington township and bay in the Maria Island National Park, off the East coast of Tasmania. Looking at her house across the peaceful bay I thought of how she must have done the same, many years ago. This, I thought, is a place where the passing of time can be more easily missed.
